USE AND CARE OF MUSIC 1. Do not fold, tear or otherwise mutilate music. 2. Absence from school does not relieve students of the responsibility to have music brought to the rehearsal or performance. This applies mainly to the music in concert folders. 3. Use only pencil for marking the music. Before returning any music, all pencil marks must be erased. 4. Students will be charged for music that is not cared for properly. 5. Each student will be assigned a slot in the music rack during marching season. 6. Concert folders will be assigned according to instrumentation and parts. Each folder will be numbered to match a slot in the music rack. 7. Two or more students may be assigned to the same folder. They are responsible for sharing the music and seeing that it is returned to the rack. 8. PLASTIC FOLDERS will be provided for your use during marching rehearsal. You are responsible for the care and the repair of this folder. 9. Charges for lost or damaged music are as follows: Concert size music – $1.00 each Octavo size music – .75 each March size music – .50 each March books – $1.00 each Plastic folder – $5.00 each Other music in proportion to its cost
